ShiftMed is seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our team of healthcare professionals. As a RN with ShiftMed, you will have the opportunity to work on a per diem, short-term, long-term, or permanent basis, depending on your preferences and availability.
Key Responsibilities- Provide high-quality patient care in a variety of settings, including hospitals, outpatient clinics, skilled nursing facilities, and rehabilitation centers.
- Assess patient needs and develop individualized care plans to ensure optimal health outcomes.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians, and record patient data accurately.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care delivery and improve patient outcomes.
- Supervise and delegate tasks to nurse aides, and ensure proper care delivery.
- Perform ongoing patient assessment and observation to ensure optimum health levels.
- Active, unencumbered RN license from the state in which you plan to work.
- Minimum 1-year experience of acute RN work experience in the last 2 years.
- Push, pull, support, and lift a minimum of 80 pounds.
- Physical stamina to handle long hours of standing and walking.
- Current CPR certification (Basic Life Support).
- Annual physical.
- Negative TB test results.
- Current BLS CPR certification required, with additional certifications to be required based on area of specialty.
- COVID-19 Vaccination.
- EPIC EMR experience a plus.
