Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Physical Therapist Assistant to join our team at CharterCARE Health Partners. As a PTA, you will play a vital role in administering prescribed physical therapy programs to restore function and mobility in patients under the direction of a licensed Physical Therapist.

This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated and compassionate individual to make a real difference in the lives of our patients. As a PTA, you will be responsible for:

  • Administering therapeutic exercises, modalities, and gait training to patients
  • Documenting patient progress and maintaining accurate medical records
  • Providing education and support to patients and their families
  • Collaborating with PTs and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement treatment plans
Requirements

To be successful as a Physical Therapist Assistant at CharterCARE Health Partners, you will need:

  • A degree from an accredited Physical Therapy Assistant program
  • A Rhode Island Physical Therapy Assistant license
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • The ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
  • Knowledge of physical therapy treatment techniques and modalities
