Classification Details
Title: Educational Training Specialist
Job Code: 3038 (Full-Time), 3538 (Part-Time)
FLSA Status: Exempt
Role Summary
The incumbent will be tasked with designing and delivering educational workshops, seminars, and courses. Responsibilities also include assessing participants and developing curricula tailored to the needs of the Workforce Development and Community Education Division.
Key Responsibilities
1. Facilitate and instruct workshops, seminars, and courses, employing effective communication and teaching methodologies.
2. Create and enhance educational programs, including syllabi and course materials.
3. Assess and revise existing programs based on participant feedback and performance.
4. Maintain comprehensive records of participant progress and attendance.
5. Provide personalized tutoring and advisement to support student success.
6. Collaborate with faculty and staff to meet departmental objectives and maintain program accreditation.
7. Engage in professional development activities and contribute to departmental meetings.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline and a minimum of four years of pertinent experience.
