Job Overview

NCW is seeking a highly skilled Project Manager to join their Boston, MA office. As a key member of the development team, you will be responsible for overseeing the master project schedule, hosting onsite meetings with development, and participating in design meetings.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of construction operations and processes, with the ability to delegate duties to teams effectively and resolve any issues that may arise.

  • Bachelor's degree in Construction, Engineering, or related field.
  • 5+ years of Construction experience, with a focus on wood frame multi-family projects.
  • Experience with ProCore, Bluebeam, or similar scheduling software.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Outlook and Teams.
Key Responsibilities
  • Ensure successful workflow and scheduling of project by reviewing daily reports from superintendent, attending weekly subcontractor meetings, and ensuring all materials are procured well in advance.
  • Maintain quality control by continually inspecting all work, ensuring timely review and approval of shop drawings by architects and engineers, and engaging design consultants for onsite inspections and punch lists.
  • Provide supervisory support to field management by assisting the superintendent to ensure project is successful.
  • Manage administrative duties such as scheduling and hosting monthly onsite meeting with development to review project status and create weekly schedule updates.
  • Ensure a successful post-construction process by preparing close out books containing final project documentation, and work with property management representatives and subs/vendors to resolve all remaining items.
