We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Bilingual Psychotherapist to join our team at ProHealth Care. As a key member of our Behavioral Health Services department, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality care to our patients and their families.
Key Responsibilities- Clinical Expertise: Utilize your expertise to work with children, adolescents, couples, and families, conducting clinical assessments of behavioral health conditions with a special emphasis on the Hispanic culture.
- Supportive Environment: Establish a caring environment by providing emotional and psychological support to our diverse patient population, particularly those in the Hispanic community.
- Community Engagement: Facilitate mental health presentations, participate in outreach activities, and collaborate with primary care providers to recognize, treat, and manage mental disorders and psychosocial problems efficiently.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate records, documenting initial intake evaluations, treatment plans, and discharge summaries in compliance with regulations and standards.
- Team Collaboration: Work collaboratively within multidisciplinary teams, attending meetings and participating in Quality Improvement activities as required.
- Education: Master's Degree in social work, counseling, or psychology.
- Licensure: Possess a license to practice in the state of Wisconsin (LCSW or LPC) with 3,000 hours post Master's Degree for third-party billing.
- Certification: Meet state requirements for certification as a substance abuse counselor (SAC or CSAC) or possess Substance Abuse Specialty Authorization added to licensure.
- Language Skills: Bilingual in Spanish/English with extensive knowledge of Hispanic culture preferred.
