In an increasingly intricate and unpredictable environment, large corporations require a dependable partner to enhance their risk management strategies. AXA XL Risk Consulting, a segment of AXA XL Insurance, provides essential support to:
- Underwriters in evaluating the risks associated with AXA XL's insurance offerings;
- Clients in recognizing, assessing, anticipating, and mitigating their risk exposures.
This role entails delivering consulting services focused on property and natural hazard risks within the Southeast US. The position demands a strong technical foundation and practical expertise to identify and alleviate property and natural catastrophe risk exposures across diverse project types and clientele.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform on-site evaluations to analyze property and natural catastrophe exposures, producing comprehensive reports that detail findings and suggest enhancements.
- Collaborate closely with AXA XL Risk Consulting's network of specialized engineers to effectively serve clients.
- Establish trust and foster customer satisfaction by showcasing the benefits of risk management services.
- This role will cater to U.S. territories, assisting both insured and non-insured clients, with anticipated travel of 20-25%.
Required Qualifications:
- Extensive knowledge of NFPA Codes, FM Data Sheets, and local regulations.
- In-depth understanding of fire protection systems.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related Science field.
- Considerable experience as a property field engineer.
- Proficiency in analyzing windstorm risk factors.
- Capability to leverage industry experience across a variety of clients and projects, providing effective consultation on diverse property risk controls and identifying exposures on complex risks.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills are crucial.
- The ideal candidate will be proactive, consistently pursuing personal and professional growth.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team and engage effectively with both internal and external stakeholders.
- Must possess a valid driver's license.
