Nurse Practitioner

Job Summary

Infirmary Health is seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our team. As a Registered Nurse, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and working collaboratively with our healthcare team to ensure the best possible outcomes for our patients.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan, implement, and evaluate comprehensive care for designated patients to ensure quality of care and continuity of care delivery.
• Develop and maintain accurate and detailed patient records, including medical histories, treatment plans, and progress notes.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care and ensure seamless transitions between departments.
• Participate in ongoing education and training to stay current with best practices and advancements in nursing care.

Requirements

• Associate Degree in Nursing or higher.
• Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the state of Alabama or a compact state.
• Minimum one year of experience as a Registered Nurse in an acute care setting.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification may be required in designated areas.

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Nursing.
• Working knowledge of the healthcare industry and current trends.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
