Development Coordinator

The Development Coordinator will play a vital role in supporting the fundraising efforts of Good News Home for Women. This position is responsible for planning and organizing fundraising events, researching and writing grant proposals, and providing administrative support to staff.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the organization's fundraising events, including the ASK letter, Designer Bag Bingo, Banquet, and Golf.
- Research and write grant proposals to secure funding from private foundations, corporations, and the government.
- Provide administrative support to the Executive Director, HR Director, and other administrative staff.
- Maintain a filing system, contact database, employee list, and inventory.
- Order and track office supplies for staff.
- Develop and maintain new sources of individual and church support.
- Ensure timely completion of the monthly program.
Requirements and Qualifications:
- College degree or equivalent.
- Experience with grant writing and fundraising for a nonprofit organization.
- Experience with reviewing contracts.
- Proven administrative experience.
- Superb written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong time-management skills and multitasking ability.
- Aptitude for learning new software and systems.
