Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Respiratory Therapist to join our team at Hospital Sisters Health Systems (HSHS). As a Respiratory Therapist, you will be responsible for conducting basic physician-prescribed treatments and demonstrating competence in respiratory equipment related to respiratory care-based practice.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate and maintain respiratory care equipment
  • Administer patient care and document practice activity in the patient's electronic medical record (EMR)
  • Conduct basic physician-prescribed treatments and demonstrate competence in respiratory equipment related to respiratory care-based practice
Requirements
  • Diploma or Associate's degree in respiratory therapy from an Accredited Respiratory Care Education Program
  • Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) by the National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC)
  • Licensed Respiratory Care Practitioner or eligibility for licensure in the state of practice
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
