Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our Labor and Delivery team. As a Labor and Delivery Nurse, you will play a critical role in providing exceptional patient care and supporting our patients through the birthing process. You will work closely with our interdisciplinary team to ensure that our patients receive the highest level of care and attention.

Responsibilities
  • Provide direct patient care to laboring patients, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of care.
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized care plans.
  • Monitor fetal heart rates and maternal vital signs, and take appropriate action as needed.
  • Administer medications and treatments as ordered by the physician.
  • Assist with deliveries, including vaginal and cesarean sections.
  • Provide emotional support and education to patients and their families.
Requirements
  • Current RN licensure in the state of Kansas or Missouri.
  • Experience in Labor and Delivery or a related field.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification.
  • Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification.
