As a Critical Care Flight Nurse with our organization, you will play a vital role in safely transporting patients to and from medical facilities while providing exceptional patient care.
About the RoleWe are committed to delivering compassionate, quality medical care to our patients, and we need experienced professionals like you to help us achieve this goal. As a Critical Care Flight Nurse, your primary responsibilities will include assessing each situation to determine the best course of action to support, monitor, and treat patients in critical care situations.
You will also be responsible for utilizing your critical thinking skills to manage critically ill or injured adult or pediatric patients and supporting physicians' orders. Additionally, you will take pride in maintaining a safe, clean, and well-stocked aircraft environment, ensuring regular equipment checks, and complying with safety standards and briefings.
Our ideal candidate is a licensed RN with at least three years of experience in an Emergency or Adult Critical Care setting. You should have current RN licensure in the states served by the assigned area, EMT Certification where required, BLS, ACLS, PALS, NRP, and Trauma Certification where required. Prior flight experience and instructor certifications in BLS, ACLS, PALS/PEPP, ITLS/PHTLS are also preferred.
