Position Overview
As a Mobile MRI Technologist, you will play a crucial role in delivering exceptional patient care and performing advanced imaging procedures. Your expertise will contribute significantly to our commitment to excellence in healthcare.

Certification Requirements
To ensure the highest standards of practice, the following certifications are necessary:
  • Valid Driver's License/State ID - essential for roles involving transportation.
  • National Certification - verification required for all allied professionals.
  • State License Verification - mandatory, with primary source verification.
  • NURSYS Verification - applicable for RN, LPN/LVN, and AP roles.

Specialized Certifications
Additional certifications may include:
  • NIH Stroke Certification - required based on specialty.
  • Crisis Prevention Institute (CPI) Certification - essential for specialty roles.

Job Requirements
We are seeking candidates with a minimum of 2 years of experience. First-time travelers are welcome to apply. The schedule includes:
  • Days, 3-12 hour shifts
  • Varied schedule with rotating Saturdays
  • No on-call duties

As part of your responsibilities, you will assist in transferring patients from beds to MRI stretchers, ensuring a high standard of patient experience and care. You will coordinate care and MRI examinations as ordered within the Emergency Department.

Patient Demographics
Our facility specializes in treating a diverse range of patients, including those experiencing strokes, cancer, and wound care. We also conduct breast imaging and biopsies.

Equipment and Environment
We are in the process of upgrading our imaging technology, transitioning from a 1.5 T Symphony to a Siemens 3T system.

Additional Information
Uniform requirements include a caribbean blue top paired with black pants.

Qualifications
Mandatory certifications include BLS and ARRT Advanced Certification. ARMIRT certification is preferred.
