Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Road Mechanic to join our team at Superior Ambulance. As a key member of our fleet maintenance team, you will be responsible for the general maintenance and repair of all Superior Ambulance vehicles.

Responsibilities:

• Perform routine maintenance tasks, including oil changes, tire rotations, and brake pad replacements.
• Troubleshoot and repair complex mechanical issues, including coolant leaks, oil leaks, and electrical system malfunctions.
• Inspect and repair or replace vehicle components, including headlights, brake lights, and sliding doors.
• Maintain accurate records of vehicle maintenance and repairs.
• Collaborate with other team members to ensure timely completion of tasks and meet customer expectations.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 2 years of experience in a shop or road environment preferred.
• Basic mechanical ability and knowledge of vehicle systems.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.

Work Environment:

This role requires working outdoors and indoors with occasional exposure to hazardous conditions and to blood/body fluids, fumes/odors, extended day, and temperature changes. Frequently works with others, face-to-face contact with others with exposure to noise, mechanical equipment, and electrical equipment.
