The Project Operations Leader collaborates closely with various teams, including Project Coordinators, Report Writers, and Field Technicians.
In this role, you will engage with Project Coordinators, clients, and technicians to ascertain client requirements and organize testing processes.
Effective team communication is vital for this position. Project Coordinators are often the first point of contact for clients in urgent need of our services, making it essential to maintain a seamless communication flow.
You will report directly to our General Manager.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Oversee all functions and personnel within the Project Coordinating, Report Writing, and Field Technician Departments.
2. Facilitate cross-training among employees to ensure functional redundancies across project roles and responsibilities.
3. Develop and manage the distribution of tasks within the Project Coordinating and Field Technician Departments.
4. Direct and oversee employee schedules, responsibilities, and roles to maintain an efficient office operating from Monday to Saturday.
5. Manage a dynamic office environment, clearly explaining tasks and providing guidance on projects.
6. Schedule projects, coordinate technicians, provide client updates and results, and ensure timely project completion.
7. Write and format laboratory reports, prepare all reporting tables, and train team members on the company’s reporting system and deliverables.
8. Continue to oversee the advancement of Vert systems processing software.
Qualifications:
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Ability to become proficient in company databases, project management systems, and third-party software applications.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong multitasking abilities.
- Capable of training, reviewing, and critiquing deliverables (reports, emails, invoices, etc.).
- Ability to manage a fast-paced office environment, clearly explain tasks, and provide project direction.
- Competent in directing various departments and prioritizing daily tasks and projects.
- Detail-oriented with fast typing skills.
- A B.A. or B.S. from a four-year university is preferred.
- A minimum of two years of experience in system operations.
- Understanding of software applications and API communication.
Compensation:
$85,000 - $100,000 DOE
