Internship Overview

The Financial Accounting Trainee will acquire valuable experience in various business accounting functions, including data analysis, financial reporting, and an introduction to diverse accounting practices. Under the guidance of our Accounting Manager, the Trainee will engage in the preparation of journal entries and financial statements, analyze real financial data, gain insights into bookkeeping, and support other accounting tasks. The Intern will collaborate with Accounts Payable, Payroll, and Accounts Coordinators to understand the full spectrum of accounting operations. Suggested responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:
Core Responsibilities
  • Assist in the preparation of financial documents, including balance sheets, income statements, invoices, and related materials
  • Record journal entries
  • Support accounts receivable, payable, and bank reconciliation processes
  • Aid in company audits and financial reporting
  • Reconcile balance sheet accounts
  • Contribute to the preparation and analysis of trend data
  • Undertake additional projects or tasks to enhance understanding of accounting and office procedures
Qualifications:
  • Currently enrolled in an accredited Bachelor's degree program in Accounting
  • Preference for candidates in their Junior or Senior year of study
  • Fundamental knowledge of financial and accounting principles
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Capability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Excellent verbal and written communication abilities
