Key Responsibilities- Supervise and coordinate the activities of production employees to ensure that all manufacturing processes are completed on time and to the required quality standards.
- Develop and implement process improvements to increase productivity, reduce costs, and enhance overall efficiency.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, quality, and maintenance, to resolve production issues and implement new processes.
- Conduct regular safety inspections and ensure that all employees are following safety protocols and procedures.
- Manage and maintain accurate records of production data, including inventory levels, production schedules, and quality control metrics.
- Develop and implement training programs to ensure that employees have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their jobs effectively.
- Provide coaching and feedback to employees to improve their performance and address any performance issues.
- Develop and manage budgets for production-related expenses, including materials, labor, and equipment.
- Identify and implement opportunities for cost savings and process improvements.
- Ensure that all production activities are in compliance with company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
- Bachelor's degree in a related field, such as manufacturing, engineering, or business.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in a manufacturing operations role, with a proven track record of process improvements and cost savings.
- Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and coach employees.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to identify and implement process improvements.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks and projects.
- Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes and procedures, including quality control and safety protocols.
- Ability to develop and manage budgets and financial reports.
- Master's degree in a related field.
- Experience with lean manufacturing principles and practices.
- Certification in a related field, such as Six Sigma or lean manufacturing.
- Strong knowledge of ERP systems and manufacturing software.
