We are currently seeking a highly motivated Dairy Expert to join our team as a Cheese Steward. This role offers a competitive hourly rate of $18.15 up to $21.15 depending on experience, with opportunities for advancement to $21.85 per hour.

As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for creating a welcoming in-store atmosphere and delivering exceptional customer service.

Your primary duties will include:

• Providing knowledgeable assistance to customers in selecting the perfect artisan cheeses and accompaniments for their everyday dining and special events
• Staying informed about the latest food trends and applications involving artisan cheeses, charcuterie, and specialty items such as crackers, honey, preserves, mustards, and pickles
• Conducting in-store tastings and pairings to showcase our premium products
• Designing and creating visually appealing cheese plates and gift baskets that meet our high standards
• Maintaining the production and proper care and storage of items sold in our Market Cheese Shops
• Monitoring deliveries and logging invoices daily
• Cleaning and maintaining the Cheese Shop and sales area according to our rigorous food safety standards

To succeed in this role, you should have a genuine passion for food, particularly artisan cheeses from around the world. You should also possess creative merchandising skills, outstanding customer service skills, and a strong sales ability. We prefer candidates with open availability, including evenings and weekends.
