Job Summary

The Occupational Therapist - Certified Hand Therapist will be responsible for providing evaluation and treatment to patients with varying diagnoses. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in occupational therapy and hand therapy, with the ability to assess and treat patients in a variety of settings.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive evaluations of patients to identify areas of deficit and develop treatment plans to address these deficits.
  • Provide treatment to patients in a variety of settings, including acute care, extended care, rehabilitation, and outpatient settings.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care and treatment of patients.
  • Develop and implement education and training programs for patients and caregivers to promote safe execution of treatment techniques.
Requirements
  • Master's degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
  • Current licensure as an Occupational Therapist in the State of California or a limited permit.
  • Certification as a Hand Therapist through the Hand Therapy Certification Commission (HTCC).
  • One year of experience in acute care, extended care, rehabilitation, mental health, or outpatient settings.
