Position Overview:
This is a distinctive opportunity for Registered Nurses to provide exceptional patient care through both virtual and bedside nursing at MercyOne. In this capacity, RNs will evaluate and attend to patients by utilizing video conferencing technology to facilitate admissions, discharges, and educational communication within our acute care unit.
Key Responsibilities:
- Facilitate collaboration and communication to ensure optimal care delivery through digital platforms, supporting the daily management of patient care.
- Oversee the assessment, planning, implementation, coordination, monitoring, and evaluation of the patient's care plan from admission through discharge.
Work Schedule:
0.6 FTE, 7 PM - 7 AM, with every third weekend commitment.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Current RN license in Iowa.
- BSN is preferred.
- A minimum of 8 years of nursing experience is required.
