Key responsibilities will include:

  • Providing technical solutions for various customer specific automation applications
  • Developing and representing working mechanical and controls solutions in electronic format (AutoCAD, SW, Rendering/Animations)
  • Developing detailed labor and material cost estimates for the proposed automation solution
  • Providing comprehensive and detailed written descriptions of the technical and commercial aspects of the proposed equipment
  • Establishing time and sequence charts of all motion-based assembly and test tasks
  • Possessing strong working knowledge of the assembly and test automation technologies in the medical device, electronic, automotive, consumer product, and health care industry
  • Working cohesively with Account Management in the development and promotion of automation solutions
  • Being available for periodic overnight travel (domestic and global)
  • Interfacing with design, manufacturing engineering, and production personnel to develop solutions and ensure implementation
  • Supporting and leading in a seamless and complete transfer of technical and commercial information from Sales and Applications to Project Management and Engineering following the receipt of purchase orders
  • Focusing on demonstrating and incorporating key Calvary initiatives and standards within daily work of developing system solutions
  • Implementing Calvary values and business principles and promoting Calvary's capabilities
  • Supporting continuous improvement activities within applications
  • Supporting engineering in assigned project-related activities
  • Supporting in performing peer concept reviews, cost reviews, and proposal reviews
  • Supporting management in opportunity qualification and strategic applications planning

Requirements:

  • Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering Technology, Electro-Mechanical Engineering Technology, and/or other degrees
  • In addition to or exclusive of demonstrated applicable industry experience
  • 8+ years' experience in automation, machining building, manufacturing, or robotics
  • Concept abilities and optimization
  • Costing and risk awareness
  • Engineering drawings review and analysis

The salary range for this role is $115,000 to $125,000. However, Calvary Robotics considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role and associated responsibilities, work experience, education/training, and key skills.
