We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Chief Financial Operations Manager to oversee key financial operations and lead a talented team within our dynamic company. This is a challenging role that requires strong leadership, analytical, and communication skills.

Job Summary

The Chief Financial Operations Manager plays a crucial role in ensuring the accuracy and timeliness of financial reports and compliance with accounting standards and regulations. The primary responsibilities of this position include:

  • Overseeing the onshore and offshore accounting teams, including hiring, training, and evaluating their performance.
  • Reviewing team performance by monitoring KPIs and providing feedback to ensure everyone is meeting their goals.
  • Providing ongoing training and development opportunities for the accounting team to enhance their skills and knowledge.
  • Assigning responsibilities to team members and ensuring timely and accurate completion of weekly and monthly tasks.
  • Overseeing accounting for assigned operating business units, ensuring all journal entries and financial reports are accurate and timely.
  • Reviewing balance sheet reconciliations through Blackline, ensuring reconciling items are resolved in a timely manner.
  • Reviewing variance analysis reports and flagging and correcting any issues early on.
  • Conducting second-level reviews of weekly and monthly tasks in Blackline, ensuring they are performed on time and without errors.
  • Keeping management informed of project updates, issues, and regular tasks.
  • Taking on more complex accounting projects, working with other stakeholders across the company.
  • Coordinating and supporting internal and external audits, providing necessary documentation and insights.
  • Identifying opportunities for process improvements and efficiencies within the accounting department.
  • Staying informed on industry best practices and emerging technologies in accounting.
Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need to have:

  • A Bachelor's degree in accounting or a related field.
  • CPA certification.
  • At least 4-5 years of accounting experience, including 3 years of public accounting experience (preferably with a top public accounting firm).
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and analytical skills.
  • The ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.

This role is an estimated $110,000-$140,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.
