BAYADA Home Health Care, a renowned provider of home health services, is seeking an experienced Occupational Therapist to join our team in Owings, Maryland.
About the RoleWe are looking for a skilled and compassionate individual to work with our clients in Southern Anne Arundel & Calvert County. As a Home Health Occupational Therapist, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to individuals in their own homes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough assessments of patients' functional status and develop personalized intervention plans to achieve optimal outcomes.
- Evaluate home environments for potential hazards or barriers to independent living and provide recommendations for adaptations and equipment needs.
- Collaborate with nursing teams to ensure seamless multidisciplinary care and revise treatment plans as needed.
- Document observations, interventions, and evaluations accurately using state-of-the-art technology.
To be successful in this role, you should have:
- A current Maryland Occupational Therapist license.
- Prior home care experience preferred but not required.
- A minimum of one year of recent work experience as an Occupational Therapist.
- Graduation from an occupational therapy program accredited jointly by the Committee on Allied Health Education and Accreditation of the AMA and the AOTA.
- Strong interpersonal skills, organizational abilities, and problem-solving skills.
- Solid computer skills, including prior experience with electronic medical records (EMR).

Compensation and BenefitsThis rewarding role offers a competitive salary range of $85,000 - $110,000 per year, depending on experience, as well as a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, retirement plan, and opportunities for career advancement.
