About the Role

We are seeking a skilled HVAC Service Technician to join our team at Johnson Controls International. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing top-notch service to our customers, ensuring their facilities are running efficiently and effectively.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide Expert Service: Troubleshoot and repair commercial HVAC systems, including light commercial and heavy commercial markets.
  • Collaborate with Customers: Work closely with customers to understand their needs and provide solutions to resolve building inefficiencies and service-related issues.
  • Stay Up-to-Date with Industry Developments: Participate in factory certification programs and stay current with industry advancements to ensure the highest level of service delivery.
  • Meet Performance Expectations: Meet or exceed performance metrics, including productivity and quality standards.
Requirements
  • Commercial HVAC Experience: A minimum of five (5) years of experience in commercial HVAC service, with a strong background in mechanical troubleshooting and repair.
  • Mechanical Journeyman Status: Possess a valid mechanical journeyman status and be able to pass a satisfactory examination to identify special skills.
  • Computer Literacy: Proficient in using computer systems and software to manage work orders, track inventory, and communicate with customers.
  • Excellent Communication Skills: Possess excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively interact with customers, colleagues, and management.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Advanced Commercial HVAC Experience: Seven (7) years of experience in commercial HVAC service, with a strong background in mechanical troubleshooting and repair.
  • Refrigeration Certification: Possess a valid refrigeration certification and be familiar with EPA Universal Refrigerant Certification.
