Job Summary

As a Courier Driver with Federal Express Corporation, you will be responsible for operating company vehicles and providing courteous and efficient delivery and pick-up of packages. You will also be responsible for checking shipments for conformance to FedEx features of service and providing related customer service functions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Operate company vehicles in a safe and efficient manner

  • Check shipments for conformance to FedEx features of service
  • Provide related customer service functions

Requirements
  • High School Diploma/G.E.D.
  • Valid driver's license in accordance with state requirements
  • Good driving record
  • Six (6) months courier experience preferred

Preferred Qualifications
  • Good human relations and verbal communication skills
  • Thorough knowledge of the station's service area
  • Ability to lift 50 lbs
  • Ability to maneuver packages of any weight above 50 lbs with appropriate equipment and/or assistance from another person

Working Conditions
  • Neat appearance since customer contact is required
  • Must meet and maintain the qualifications as outlined in the Federal Motor Carrier Safety regulations

Pay and Benefits
  • $22.43-$34.84 per hour (plus $2.00 hourly premium)
