Construction Technician

We are seeking a skilled Construction, Carpentry, and Maintenance Technician to join our team at Chickasaw Nation Industries Inc. This role involves performing tasks related to the maintenance and repair of production facilities, including basic carpentry, painting, drywall, framing, and snow removal.

• Perform tasks related to the maintenance and repair of production facilities, including general maintenance tasks, machine maintenance, and carpentry work.
• Paint, spackle, and install trim, install windows and doors, frame out areas, and install sheetrock.
• Install cabinets, countertops, ceilings, and lay out and plan jobs, build material lists, and obtain price quotes.
• Responsible for aiding in own self-development by being available and receptive to all training made available by the company.
• Plans daily activities within the guidelines of company policy, job description, and supervisor's instruction in such a way as to maximize personal output.

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED) and a minimum of five (5) years' relevant experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education/experience.
• Must be able to pass a customer background check for access to facilities, equipment, and property.
• Must be able to lift objects up to 50 pounds and frequently use the lower extremities and back muscles and moving on foot, particularly for long distances.

The job requires the use of protective equipment such as hard hats, respirators, aprons, gloves, special clothing, safety shoes, and safety glasses. The job requires frequent exposure to noise, pollutants, or allergens, and hazardous working conditions, including moving machinery, electricity, and/or working in high places.
