Key Responsibilities- Prepare and serve meals to veterans and staff in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
- Maintain a clean and safe kitchen, adhering to health and safety regulations.
- Work collaboratively with the Dietary and Food Services team to ensure efficient meal service and high-quality food preparation.
- Participate in ongoing training and professional development to enhance culinary skills and knowledge.
Working overtime may be required of this position. Employees of CalVet will be required to follow state or county public health guidelines and requirements enacted in accordance with infectious disease prevention and control.
Special RequirementsSuccessful completion of a live scan and a pre-employment physical (including drug testing for certain civil service classifications) will be required.
