Position Summary
The Senior Call Center Agent plays a crucial role in engaging with current and former donors, ensuring an outstanding donor experience. This position emphasizes outbound recruitment efforts for specialized blood products, such as platelets, which necessitate additional knowledge and training. The agent is expected to deliver top-tier service to all donors, employing advanced strategies for unique donor groups and serving as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) for other team members. Accountability for personal performance metrics and achieving monthly collection targets is essential, with opportunities for career advancement to Team Lead.
Key Responsibilities
- Adhere to the designated work schedule while meeting productivity, quality, and service level objectives.
- Utilize innovative scripting techniques to effectively communicate with specialized donor groups.
- Investigate donor inquiries using appropriate resources (donation history, internal tools, training materials).
- Act as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) for onboarding new hires and supporting fellow agents.
- Exhibit exceptional customer service and problem-solving skills.
- Conduct outbound calls to secure donor appointments using effective communication techniques.
- Provide clear and supportive written responses across various platforms.
- Assist with diverse tasks as needed to support departmental operations.
- Encourage and educate donors to schedule their next donation.
- Participate in training sessions and integrate learned techniques into daily tasks.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date donor information.
- Engage in team projects as assigned.

Qualifications
Education
- High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
- 1-3 years of experience in customer service, preferably within a contact center environment.
- 1-3 years of experience with chat, email, or social media contact center platforms is preferred.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills are essential.
- Proven ability to deliver high-quality customer service.
- Ability to lead by example, demonstrating high engagement and performance.
- Attention to detail and accuracy in data entry are critical.
- Results-oriented mindset, collaborating with management to achieve goals.
- Capability to manage multiple tasks and proactively communicate progress.
- Proficient in computer skills (Microsoft Office) and ability to learn job-specific applications.
- Experience in a multi-channel contact center environment is advantageous.
- Personal Computer (desktop, laptop, tablet) is required.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office products is necessary.
- Ability to learn contact center-specific software is required.
