This role provides direct clinical patient care, assessing, planning, implementing, and supervising the delivery of high-quality, safe, and appropriate nursing care to assigned patients on a per shift basis. The role is responsible for ensuring the competency of clinical staff and effective resource management related to patient care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide effective interpersonal and communication skills to serve as a role model and advocate for the professional discipline of nursing.
- Supervise staff to ensure appropriate care is delegated and delivered.
- Support the Chief Nursing Officer (CNO) in ensuring high-quality, safe, and appropriate nursing care.
Qualifications:
- Education:
- Graduation from a state-approved school of nursing or an accredited school.
- Preferred: Academic degree in nursing (bachelor's or master's degree).
- Certifications:
- Current licensure, certification, or registration to practice as a registered nurse in the state of practice or policy.
- CPR certification.
