Key Responsibilities

  • Design, execute, and sustain dynamic lesson plans that align with the school's mathematics curriculum for grades 9 through 12.
  • Guide a group of approximately 8-12 upper school students in both academic pursuits and essential life skills.
  • Maintain open lines of communication with families through various means including phone conversations, emails, and scheduled conferences.
  • Actively participate in professional development activities and meetings at the departmental, divisional, and school-wide levels.
  • Exhibit a willingness to engage in extracurricular initiatives within the school community, such as leading a club or coaching a sport.

Qualifications

  • A Bachelor's degree is mandatory.
  • Prior experience in teaching mathematics to adolescents and/or college students is preferred.
  • Strong enthusiasm and effective interpersonal skills are crucial.
