Job Summary

Volt is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Dock Associate to join our team in Olathe, KS. As a key member of our warehouse team, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient and safe movement of freight and inventory.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide Excellent Customer Service: Respond promptly and efficiently to internal team members and external customers, providing courteous and friendly service.
  • Operate Warehouse Equipment: Safely and efficiently load and unload freight using suitable material-handling equipment, and utilize an RF scanner to track packages and ensure timely delivery.
  • Maintain Accuracy and Safety: Sort packages accurately based on customer and delivery routes, and safeguard cross-dock operations and contents by establishing and monitoring safety and security procedures.
  • Collaborate with Team Members: Work closely with other warehouse team members to continuously improve best practices and optimize freight-related arrangements.
  • Protect Company Assets: Safeguard company assets and confidential information in accordance with company policies and procedures.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or Equivalent: Required.
  • Sit-Down Forklift Experience: Required.
  • Proven Warehouse Experience: Required.
  • Lifting Ability: Able to lift 50 lbs.
  • Standing Ability: Able to stand for 8 hours a day.
What We Offer

Volt offers a competitive hourly rate of $19.00 and a range of schedules to fit your needs, including 8:00 am - 4:30 pm, 10:00 am - 6:30 pm, 1:00 pm - 9:30 pm, 3:00 pm - 11:30 pm, and 11:00 pm - 7:30 am.
