Job Overview
We are seeking a part-time staff member to serve as Supervising Carpenter for Theater, responsible for overseeing construction requirements for productions, providing training and supervision, and ensuring a safe working environment. This role will work extensively with students, serving as a liaison to the Information Technology staff, and collaborating on projects using project management software like Redbooth.

Responsibilities
* Oversee construction requirements for school productions* Collaborate with students on projects using project management software* Provide training and supervision of students and equipment* Ensure a clean and safe working environment* Facilitate the use and training of construction equipment and techniques* Read, understand, and draft theatrical ground plans and construction drawings* Document experience and knowledge in technical aspects of live theater* Transport equipment for service or use* Basic electrical work and design skills preferred* Proficiency in software such as ProTools, QLab, Vectorworks, Sketchup, Adobe Photoshop, and Adobe Premiere Pro

Requirements
* MFA/BFA in Technical Theater or equivalent combination of education and experience preferred* Knowledge and training in organizing and managing construction* Experience working on teams and committees, including project management software* Ability to maintain a clean and safe working environment* Valid driver's license

Estimated Salary Range: $60,000 - $80,000 per year, depending on qualifications and experience.
