Job Summary

Heidelberg Materials US, Inc. is seeking a skilled Yard Loader Operator to join our team at our Lake Bridgeport quarry in Texas. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for efficiently controlling the raw materials and replenishment process.

Key Responsibilities

  • Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and environmental regulations, as well as company policies and procedures.
  • Conduct daily pre- and post-shift safety inspections.
  • Responsible for knowing aggregate products and estimating weight when loading trucks.
  • Load customer trucks in a safe and accurate manner, communicating with drivers to ensure quality service.
  • Identify and report repair and safety issues to supervisors and mechanics.
  • Perform minor repairs on equipment and maintain stockpiles.
  • Other job duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Prefer high school diploma or general education (GED).
  • Prefer two years of heavy equipment experience.
  • Open pit mining operations and aggregate products experience is a plus.
  • MSHA training is a plus.
  • Meet physical requirements, including sitting, standing, walking, pushing, pulling, twisting, climbing, balancing, bending, kneeling, reaching, grasping, squatting, repetitive motions, manipulative finger movements, and working in confined spaces.
