Key Responsibilities
  • Transport supplies between departments
  • Arrange and maintain boxes, pallets, and product in a neat and orderly manner
  • Clean lint, dust, oil, and grease from machines, lighting fixtures, and racking
  • Clean floors
  • Pick up reusable scrap for salvage
  • Clean rooms, hallways, lobbies, lounges, restrooms, corridors, lockers, and other work areas as needed
  • Wash walls and ceiling
  • Empty wastebaskets, manage the bailer, and empty and clean ashtrays
  • Transport trash and waste to disposal area
  • Replace light bulbs
  • Ensure signage is clean and in proper locations
  • Pick up trash from the DC grounds and maintain area
  • Operate MHE to transport materials within the DC
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Related warehouse experience is highly preferred
  • Ability to work overtime as needed
  • Support and contribute to the overall goals of the Operations Department
  • Takes initiative and works well independently
  • Able to meet goals under tight time constraints
  • Ability to communicate well with internal and external customers and management
  • Follow safe working practices, as instructed
