Job Title: CT Technologist

Memorial Hermann Health System is seeking a skilled CT Technologist to join our team in Missouri City, Texas.

Job Summary

This position performs Computed Tomography (CT) scans to create high-quality images of internal organs and tissues, which are used by physicians to diagnose and treat patients.

Responsibilities
  • Prepare patients for CT scans, explaining the procedure and administering contrast when necessary.
  • Position patients for the CT scan, selecting the appropriate imaging techniques to ensure technical quality.
  • Enter and monitor patient data, ensuring accurate and timely information.
  • Perform quality assurance on CT equipment, maintaining the highest standards of safety and efficiency.
  • Identify and report any accidents, complaints, or equipment malfunctions to department management.
  • Take emergency calls within the department, working weekends and floating to other locations as needed.
  • Ensure safe care to patients, staff, and visitors, adhering to Memorial Hermann's policies and procedures.
  • Promote individual professional growth and development, meeting requirements for mandatory/continuing education and skills competency.
Requirements
  • Graduate of an accredited school of Radiologic Technology.
  • Certified in Basic or Advanced Life Support.
  • Current license or temporary license by the Texas Medical Board (MRT).
  • Registered CT Technologist by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT-CT) or Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board (NMTCB(CT)) in computed tomography.
  • Minimum of one year of experience as a Computed Tomography Technologist or two years of experience as a Radiological Technologist with CT education or experience.
