We are seeking a highly skilled Quality Assurance Specialist to join our team at the American Red Cross. As a Quality Assurance Specialist, you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality and integrity of our products and services.
Key Responsibilities- Quality Assurance and Control: Review, assess, and monitor records, processes, and systems to identify areas for improvement and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Training and Development: Train and mentor quality assurance staff and educate team and operations staff on quality principles and regulatory requirements.
- Process Improvement: Identify opportunities for standardization and process improvements and monitor change for effectiveness.
- Regulatory Compliance: Represent quality assurance in change control, standardization, and consolidation activities to ensure implementation occurs in a state of compliance with no adverse impact.
- Communication and Collaboration: Effectively communicate with management, staff, and outside clients to achieve compliance with relevant procedures.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Education: Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent combination of education and work experience.
- Experience: Minimum 5 years of related experience in QA, QC, or Quality Auditing in a GMP environment such as blood banking, pharmaceutical, medical devices, or a hospital.
- Skills and Abilities: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, effective verbal and written communication skills, and ability to work on a team.
