As an Amazon Sortation Center Warehouse Associate, you will play a critical role in ensuring that customer orders are accurately sorted and prepared for delivery. This is a fast-paced, physically demanding role that requires attention to detail and the ability to work efficiently in a team environment.
Duties and Responsibilities- Receive and sort inventory accurately and efficiently
- Use technology such as scanners and handheld printers to track and manage inventory
- Work collaboratively with team members to meet productivity and quality standards
- Stand, walk, push, pull, squat, bend, and reach during shifts
- Use carts, dollies, hand trucks, and other gear to move items around the warehouse
As an Amazon Sortation Center Warehouse Associate, you will work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with a focus on safety and efficiency. You will be surrounded by moving machines and equipment, and will be required to stand for long periods of time and lift up to 49 pounds. The temperature in the warehouse can vary between 60F and 90F, and you may be required to work in a hot environment during the summer months.
