About the Job

Nacogdoches County Hospital District is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Housekeeping Technician to join our team. As a Housekeeping Technician, you will play a critical role in maintaining the cleanliness and sanitation of our hospital facilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Follow established cleaning schedules and procedures to ensure a clean and safe environment for patients, visitors, and staff.
  • Perform terminal cleaning procedures to prepare rooms for new occupancy.
  • Clean and sanitize high-touch areas, including isolation rooms and patient rooms.
  • Assist with special projects and events as needed.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
