Salary and Benefits

As a Caregiver and Support Specialist, you can expect a competitive salary of $20.50/hr (Non-MAP) or $21.50/hr (MAP Certified). Job Description

We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Caregiver and Support Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will provide day-to-day support to individuals with intellectual disabilities, developmental disabilities, or acquired brain injuries. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Assisting with personal care, such as bathing, toileting, and teeth brushing
  • Teaching household maintenance, meal preparation, and shopping skills
  • Accompanying individuals on appointments
  • Administering medications according to residential guidelines

You will also receive training on CPR/First Aid, Safety Care, Defensive Driving, and the Medication Administration Program (MAP).

Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you must possess the following qualifications:

  • Be at least 18 years old
  • Have a High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Hold a valid Driver's License with a good driving record
