Heavy Aircraft Mechanic

As an Airframe Maintenance Specialist, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safe and efficient operation of aircraft. This is an exciting opportunity for recent graduates of Technical or A&P schools, as well as mechanics with fewer than five years of heavy aircraft experience.
The primary duties and responsibilities of this position include:
- Performing routine inspections and maintenance tasks on aircraft.
- Using FAA-approved data, such as IPC, M/M, OHM, and SRM, to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Collaborating with experienced technicians to troubleshoot and resolve issues.
- Participating in ongoing training and professional development to stay up-to-date with industry best practices.

To succeed in this role, an individual must meet the following requirements:
- Holding a high school diploma or general education degree (GED) is mandatory.
- A minimum of 1 year related experience and/or training is required.
- An A and/or P license, FCC license, or repairman's certificate may or may not be necessary.
- Some sheet metal experience, including relative experience outside of Aviation, is beneficial.
- The ability to possess and skillfully use the minimum tools required is essential.
- 6 months Helper experience with successful completion of 40-hour Sheetmetal class is preferred.
- Candidates without experience in Aviation Sheetmetal must successfully complete 120 hours of General Aviation Training (OJT).
- The ability to learn and adapt quickly is crucial.
The estimated annual salary for this position is approximately $70,000 - $90,000 based on industry standards and location considerations. We also offer a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as a generous retirement plan.
