The Server Assistant will provide exceptional dining experiences to our guests by assisting servers in providing warm and efficient service. This role requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and a commitment to delivering high-quality service.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist servers in providing warm and efficient service to all guests
  • Service tables with enthusiasm and a genuine smile welcoming their presence
  • Adhere to established service standards and protocols
  • Deliver orders timely and correctly, and perform table maintenance in an efficient and gracious manner
  • Check in after courses are dropped within an appropriate timeframe to ensure their satisfaction
  • Assist servers in proper rotation and polishing of glassware, silverware, and other service items
  • Follow proper hospitality standards when interacting with any guest
  • Come to work prepared with appropriate tools, laundered and pressed uniform, correct shoes, and a good attitude
  • Strong, upbeat and positive personality

Requirements:

  • Knowledge of both classic and current food and beverage trends
  • Minimum 1-2 years of experience in an upscale restaurant setting
  • Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Must be a team player with a strong work ethic
  • Ability to lift, move, carry 30 – 40 lb boxes / bins / trays

Working Conditions/Environment:

  • The person having this position may have to stand and/or walk, push, kneel, bend, balance, squat, reach, and stretch for eight (8) hours per day.
  • The person having this responsibility may have to move, pull, carry, or lift objects weighing at least 50 pounds.
