The Outpatient Care Coordinator provides exceptional customer service to patients referred for cardiac specialty services. This role requires coordinating patient care services while serving as a patient advocate, ensuring the delivery of optimal patient care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Obtain medical records and schedule patient appointments.
- Provide phone coverage and maintain good relationships with referring physicians.
- Assist with implementing new programs and serve as a program resource.
**Required Qualifications:**
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A high school diploma or GED.
- Minimum six months of experience in a medical or physician practice setting as an administrative support staff or coordinator position.
- Strong keyboarding skills (40 wpm).
- Able to read, write legibly, and speak English with professional quality.
