Job Summary

Lockwood, Andrews & Newnam, Inc. (LAN) is a leading consulting firm offering planning, engineering, and program management services. We are seeking a skilled Professional Drainage Engineer to join our team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct engineering drainage evaluations and studies to identify stormwater management design improvement alternatives.
  • Assist in drainage analysis using Infoworks ICM, XP-SWMM, HEC-HMS, and HEC-RAS.
  • Prepare plans, profiles, and detail drawings in ORD/AutoCAD.
  • Manage projects from development to execution, including project design, budgeting, and scheduling.
  • Coordinate the work of engineers, designers, and sub-consultants.
  • Establish and maintain client relations.
  • Manage multiple projects and clients simultaneously.

Requirements
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in engineering from an accredited four-year college or university.
  • 4+ years' experience in the field or a related area.
  • Valid driver's license.
  • Proficient in OpenRoads Drainage & DU software.
  • Licensed as a Professional Engineer (PE).
