**Job Summary**

Catholic Health Initiatives is seeking a skilled Occupational Therapist to join our team. As an Occupational Therapist at CHI St Vincent, you will play a vital role in helping patients regain their independence and quality of life.

**Key Responsibilities**

  • Work collaboratively with physicians, physical therapists, speech therapists, and other healthcare professionals to evaluate new patients and develop a plan of care.
  • Provide treatments to patients focusing on increasing range of motion, strengthening, and maintaining balance during daily activities.
  • Recommend adaptive equipment and customize it as needed to meet individual patient needs.
  • Perform re-evaluation assessments to update progress, status changes, and adjust treatment plans accordingly.
  • Document all evaluations, treatments, and any changes to the treatment plan in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Seek help when needed and provide support to colleagues when requested, including assistance with tasks, advice, mentoring, or help to obtain additional specialty certifications.
  • Maintain a friendly and upbeat attitude to motivate patients to do their best and achieve their goals.

**Requirements**

  • Bachelor's Degree from an accredited University for Occupational Therapy with a 6-month internship and/or clinical practicum.
  • License to practice in the State of Arkansas.
  • Previous acute care experience is preferred but not required.
