Electronics Repair Team Lead

As a Store Leader at uBreakiFix, you will be responsible for leading our team of experts in repairing electronic devices. With over 800 locations across the US, Puerto Rico, and Canada, we are one of the largest gadget repair companies in the industry.
Salary and BenefitsThe estimated salary for this role is between $41,600 to $50,000 annually, with uncapped commission potential. Our Techs make an average of $3-$7 extra per hour in commissions alone. We also offer competitive benefits, including dental insurance, health insurance, paid time off after 1 year, vision insurance, and life insurance.
Job DescriptionWe are seeking a highly skilled and experienced individual to lead our team of electronics repair technicians. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electronics repair, leadership skills, and excellent customer service abilities. As a Store Leader, you will be responsible for maintaining store staff by orienting and training new employees, achieving financial objectives by monitoring expenditures and analyzing variances, and identifying current and future customer requirements.
You will also be responsible for diagnosing and troubleshooting devices, providing recommendations for problem resolution, and ensuring that all repairs meet uBreakiFix quality standards. Additionally, you will contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed and protect employees and customers by providing a safe and clean store environment.
Requirements and Qualifications- Experience repairing smartphones, PC/MACs, electronics, and game consoles is helpful.
- Proven leadership/supervisory experience.
- Proven success in achieving or surpassing sales goals.
- Success in training and developing new employees.
- Outstanding customer service and sales skills.
- Excellent technical, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
- Strong written and oral communication skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office.
- Works well in a team environment.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and some holidays.
- At least 6 months of supervisory/management experience.
- Previous experience working at a retail electronics store is helpful.
- A+ certification is helpful.
- Apple Certified Macintosh Technician (ACMT) is helpful.
- Technical degree or certification in Electronics or Consumer Electronics is helpful.
