POSITION SUMMARY:
The Cellular Product Manufacturing Technician plays a crucial role in the production and quality assurance of cellular products. This position requires adherence to regulatory standards and operational guidelines. Candidates must be flexible with working hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays, and must meet the physical demands of the role.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Maintain necessary qualifications for aseptic processing.
- Engage in the production, formulation, and preservation of cellular products, ensuring compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and Good Documentation Practices (GDP).
- Assist in drafting GMP-required documentation, including standard operating procedures and batch production records, under supervision.
- Support validation processes related to manufacturing operations.
- Participate in various manufacturing tasks, including raw material handling and cell culture activities.
- Adhere to cleanroom protocols and maintain cleanliness in designated areas.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Associate degree in a scientific discipline is preferred.
- High school diploma or equivalent is mandatory.
- 0 to 1 year of relevant experience in biotechnology or cell therapy is desired.
