Salary

The estimated annual salary for this position is $135,000 - $160,000, based on national averages for software engineers with similar experience and qualifications in the Seattle area.

Job Description

We're seeking highly skilled software engineers to join our Gateway Software Team, where you'll be responsible for developing and maintaining the software that powers Starlink's global network of ground stations.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, math, or science discipline; OR 2+ years of professional experience in software development in lieu of a degree (internship experience is applicable)
  • Development experience in C++ and python
  • Experience with networking protocols (UDP, TCP/IP, etc.)
  • Creative approach to problem solving, exceptional analytical skills and engineering fundamentals
  • Solid fundamental knowledge of networks, electronics, math, and physics
  • Ability to work effectively in a dynamic environment with changing needs and requirements
