MicroStation ORD Technician

T2 Utility Engineers is seeking a skilled MicroStation ORD Technician to join our team in central Florida. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in preparing computer-generated survey drawings using CAD software.

Our company specializes in providing reliable underground and above-ground utility information to reduce the risks that utilities present for infrastructure projects. We help clients manage the complexity of existing utilities with our professional and comprehensive Subsurface Utility Engineering, Utility Coordination, and Surveying services.

Responsibilities include:

• Preparing and/or revising MicroStation ORD generated utility investigation plan sets from T2 Utility Engineers Field and Survey collected data using Bentley MicroStation software.
• Completing simple calculations from Engineering staff specific instructions.
• Assisting with comparing T2ue field gathered data versus Survey collected data.
• Survey data processing in MicroStation/ORD is a plus.
• Understanding and implementing the company's ORD procedures and/or Agencies ORD standards for use in plan set creation and deliverables.
• Well organized with outstanding work ethic, works well with a dynamic and highly efficient team.
• Maintaining schedules and progress reports for self-performed work.

Qualifications:

• Must have 5 years of working with MicroStation based systems and 2 years minimum with ORD.
• 2+ years of MicroStation/ORD experience in survey or transportation engineering related fields.
• Minimum of high school or technical school training with courses in computer-aided drafting or equivalent experience (MicroStation/ORD).
• All activities will be under the direct supervision of a licensed Surveyor, Project Manager or Professional Engineer, utilizing a variety of software packages including MicroStation/ORD (Open Roads).
• DOT experience is a plus.
• Trimble Business center experience is a plus.
