About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled ER Team Technician to join our team at ProHealth Care. As a key member of our Emergency Department, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and supporting our team of healthcare professionals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide high-quality patient care under the direct supervision of a Registered Nurse, including vital sign collection, IV starts, and specimen collection.
  • Transport patients to various locations throughout the hospital, ensuring safe and efficient movement.
  • Assist in the setup and maintenance of medical equipment, including arterial lines, chest tubes, and airway management devices.
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure seamless patient care and efficient department operations.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • EMT Basic or higher / CNA certification at the time of hire.
  • May have 2 or more years of ED or similar experience in place of EMT Basic certification.
  • Previous experience equivalent to EMT Basic / CNA certification.
  • Select candidates who meet Nurse Intern II requirements will also be considered.
  • Previous EMT and IV experience preferred.
