We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate ICU Nurse to join our team at CHI St. Alexius Health Dickinson. As a Critical Care Registered Nurse, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care to critically ill patients in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
Key Responsibilities- Assess and Plan Patient Care: Conduct thorough assessments of patients to identify their physical, emotional, and psychological needs. Develop and implement individualized care plans to meet the unique needs of each patient.
- Provide High-Quality Patient Care: Administer medications, perform procedures, and provide wound care as needed. Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure seamless care transitions and optimal patient outcomes.
- Lead and Mentor Healthcare Team Members: Guide and direct Patient Care Technicians and other healthcare staff in providing patient care. Provide education and training to ensure that all team members are equipped to provide high-quality care.
- Stay Up-to-Date with Best Practices: Maintain knowledge of the latest medical research, technologies, and best practices in critical care nursing. Participate in ongoing education and training to stay current and improve patient outcomes.
- Collaborate with Interdisciplinary Teams: Work closely with physicians, therapists, and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement comprehensive care plans. Participate in interdisciplinary rounds and meetings to ensure that all team members are informed and aligned.
- Education and Licensure: Graduate of an accredited nursing program. Active RN license that qualifies to work as an RN in North Dakota (either an ND RN license or a compact RN license issued in another state).
- Certifications and Training: Basic Life Support (BLS). ACLS, CPI, and PALS required within one (1) year. TNCC required within one (1) year.
- Experience: Associate's Degree in Nursing (ADN). One (1) year experience as a Registered Nurse. Bachelors Degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
