Pediatric Speech Language Pathologist Assistant-Home Health

Job Summary:

Amenity Health, Inc. is seeking a highly motivated and professional Speech-Language Pathologist Assistant to join our team in providing home health services to the pediatric population in the Houston area.

Responsibilities:
  • Maintain and document productivity standards set by the Director.
  • Provide treatment based on medical, clinical, functional, and observational findings.
  • Continuously document active and supportive education with patients, parents, and others concerned regarding progress, problems, and other issues related to the therapeutic process.
  • Maintain ongoing continuing education to maintain professional licensure and clinical excellence.
Requirements:
  • Ability to interact appropriately with patients, parents/guardians, and other healthcare professionals in all work-related situations.
  • Able to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information.
  • Able to relate cooperatively and constructively with patients, families, and coworkers.
  • Ability to problem-solve to formulate a plan of care and evaluate the patient's response to care.
  • Ability to interpret, adapt, and react calmly under stressful conditions.
